From Sailor to Restaurateur, Coach and Speaker.

After getting hurt playing Soccer in college where he was studying Mechanical Engineering Technology, Bryan joined the Navy’s Nuclear Power Program. He credits this time period for teaching him how to study/learn, how to bounce back after a serious setback and most importantly, how to problem solve in a fast, calm manner despite the chaos surrounding him.

His life has primarily focused around hospitality ever since, as well as the entrepreneurial spirit baked into his brain by his mother. A single mom with three kids growing a business from her kitchen table to 14 states and the District of Columbia. Several critical lessons were learned from her, treat your People like family, continuous training creates better opportunities for your team and your business, and most importantly, Relationships matter.

Fast forward and after 30 years of hospitality related experience, Bryan with his wife, opened his first restaurant, after all how hard could it be? His wife wanted a small sandwich shop, so after opening location number 1, approx. 6000 sf ft downtown location, they grew it to 4 locations, plus having hard built concessions inside the NBA Arena, Minor League AAA Baseball Ballpark, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Minor League Hockey Arena, Double A Baseball Ballpark, Major PGA tournaments and a weekend Music festival attended by 50,000 people. With over 250 team members, logistics of hiring, training, scheduling, managing vendors, and building community, guest , and public sector relationships, he gets it. Most importantly he is willing to share that information to help cut down your learning curve or to help you flush out your ideas in a private confidential environment.
